Sports
Sports and Games are integral part of common life as well as important for good health. Sports help to reduce the levels of stress. Keeping this in view, University provides a proper training for the students to participate in sports programs under the Directorship of Dr. Vaibhav Trivedi. University also organizes fitness programs through gymnasium activities. Sports kits and equipments are available for the outdoor games facilities like Cricket, Football, Tennis, Basket Ball, Badminton etc. as well as for the indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess etc. Additional facilities are also available for cultural activities which are arranged for the students from time to time. Some of the regular events are: the inter-departmental football tournaments, cricket tournaments, etc.
As an integral part of overall development under the able guidance of our worthy Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr.) M.P. Pandey, various activities have been initiated at IFTM University which include:
1. District level Under 16 cricket tournament under the aegis of UPCA
2. State level badminton tournament veterans
3. Under 16 Open badminton tournament (Both state and district)
4. Rohilkhand University inter collegiate cricket tournament
5. State level under 14 and 16 trials
State level Cricket tournament and badminton championship is being organized every year. Our cricket team played number of cricket tournaments at different places including Moradabad and nearby areas.
